There I was, finally at INTEC UiTM… I still can’t belive a week has passed since I left. Too many things happened that I don’t know where to start…

Day One

The first day was my “Kolej” registration… FYI hostels there are called Kolej so I’m in Kolej Cendana!!! The facility-lacking but peaceful place to stay… I was so happy that i got the single-bedded room!!! More space for me… The most horibble part of the day was the never ending registration process whereby I waited for almost 2 hours before my turn…

Day Two

Had to wake up extremely early despite sleeping late… Had to wear formal clothes!!! Felt so sleepy but was forced to listen to boring talks…

Day Three

Can’t remember what happened already…. I’ll stop here… Overall, the week was just so hectic and tiring but I’m postive that things won’t be the same after this… Can’t wait for classes to begin… Oh yea, one more thing, everyone there are freaking freaking freaking freakily smart!!! Almost all the best students in Malaysia are there… I couldn’t help but feel inferior n doubtful abput myself… But I keep telling myself that the reason I’m there is to do my best and not do better than someone else!!!

Hopefully, I will be getting my laptop by the end of this month, that way I can blog everything n not miss out anything… Till then, pray for me!!!

Scorpio

That was the horoscope for me yesterday… I’m not the horoscope-believing-type but I was so stunned when i read that coz i could relate to that from word-to-word. Time is very limited for me and all these transitions are causing mixed emotions! I seriously don’t know what to expect so I’ll just go with the flow and see what happens… After all, I believe that whatever happens… it’s gonna be magnificent!

Blast!

What’s more fun than spending time with your schizophrenic, ballistic, high-flying, barbaric, hyper, super annoying friends… they’re the best la… Had so much of fun yesterday…

So sad tomorow’s plann got cancelled…

Wow, I can’t believe I’m saying this but i’ve been kinda busy for the past one week… It’s been difficult for me to come online that frequently except during the nights…

I just had a lot of things to do like preparations b4 going college n meeting up friends…

Will update all that soon… Got a gathering with my awesome friends today!!! Can’t wait…

Offer Letter

Wow, finally the offer letter from JPA arrived today via PosLaju… I waited for so long to know which country I would be bound to for my degree and guess what… I still don’t know which country I will be heading to despite having got the letter… This is because I got the twinning programme and not the direct programme…

It is just so difficult to explain to everyone who asks me what country did u get coz I myself don’t know and to explain the whole twinning process gives them a spin in the head!

So this is how it goes, There are two type of programmes for medicine… The direct programme and the twinning programme… Every JPA scholar has to do their pre-u here in Malaysia like A-Levels/AUSMAT/ICPU/ADFP and so on… Only Russian bound students get to go directly to russia after 3 months of Russian Language Studies… Upon completion of  pre-u you will be either sent to overseas to do ur full degree which is the direct programme or you will do half of the degree in Malaysia and the other half overseas, this is called twinning… Only medicine has twinning…

There are 3 type of twinning programmes:

*Melaka Manipal Medical College (MMMC) – In this programme, after your A-Levels, you will be sent to Manipal University in India to do your pre-clinical for 2.5 years then you will return to Malaysia to complete the other 2.5 years of clinical training in MMMC.

*Penang Medical College (PMC) – In this programme, after your A-Levels, you will be sent to either Royal College of Surgeons Ireland (RCSI) or University College Dublin (UCD) to do your pre-clinical for 2.5 years then you will return to Malaysia to complete the other 2.5 years of clinical training in PMC.

*International Medical University (IMU) – In this programme, after your A-Levels, you will do ur pre-clinical for 2.5 years in IMU, Malaysia. After that you will be sent to one of IMU’s partner Medical Schools in United Kingdom, North America, Australia, New Zealand, Canada or Ireland to complete the other 2.5 years of clinical training…

Therefore, the difference between PMC, MMMC and IMU is that, for PMC and MMMC you know your destination but for IMU you will not know until you finish your 2.5 years in IMU… Besides that, for PMC and MMMC you will be sent overseas first and then you will be graduating in Malaysia… Whereas, for IMU you will be in Malaysia first then be sent to overseas and will be graduating there…

So this is what I got, I will be doing my pre-u which is A-Levels Medicine in Intec, Shah Alam for 2 years. After that, I will be in IMU for 2.5 years doing my degree. Then the other 2.5 years overseas but yet to know where…

All in all, I’m so bloody happy with what I got and I’m so grateful for everything and I will be starting a new chapter in my life… Thank you to everyone who has been there for me throughout the whole process… You know who you are!!!

I was wrong but I’m happy…

I was definitely wrong when i said Adam Lambert was gonna sweep the title… But once again America delivered an unpredictable decision… It’s not that Kris was any less deserving to win it than Adam… It’s just that the way the competition flowed saw Adam as an overwhelming favourite… But who cares, I really wanted Kris to win but thought Adam was gonna win.. So I’m so happy for him… Some might say he doesn’t deseve it but I say he totally deserves it, so does Adam…

The finale was really competitive and even Simon was vague about who was gonna win the competition coz he didn’t fend to one side like he always does… These are my two favourite performances of the night…

Loss of inspiration

These few days have been boringly monotonous… There weren’t anything interesting for me to blog about… Plus, boredom is taking over me once again… I keep asking myself when will the time come???

Man of the House

Yeah, I’m currently the Man of my House coz my dad jus left to india as his mom passed away yesterday…

May her soul R.I.P….

I’ve got so many things on my shoulders and I’m starting to feel like an adult doing adult “stuffs”… Oh yea, I’m carrying a lot of money 2… XD

Heartless

Yay!!! You did it Kris… I really think he put himself back in the competition after HEARTLESS!!! Well, basically all three of them did amazing…

Round 1 (Judge’s Pick)

Danny: *Staring blankly at him* during the whole song… WTH!!! Where did you pick up that hoarse voice… It’s so fake!!! The performance was very mediocre and totally unforgettable… Paula was really bias on commending him for the boring performance… Shame on you Paula!!! Why is it that you are so attracted to all of the male contestants??? On this one I totally agreed with Kara’s criticism…

Kris: Wonderful song choice for him… but Kris didn’t do much to the song like he used to… Was disappointed with him coz it sounded too much like the original.. P/S: Simon didn’t actually comment Kris on the song as he used up all the time mocking Kara…

Adam: Wow!!! truly amazing… As always he made the most out of the song and made it work… I like it when Adam does songs like this compared to songs where he screams the whole time…

Danny: This is where he really stands out… Loved his performance and there was a lot of soul in it… And his vocals… Spectacular!!!

Kris: He was anything but heartless when singing that song… Wow!!! Simply superb… Beautiful arrangement and purely authentic… Haha… He deserves a spot in the finale…

Adam: Expected…

Round 2 goes to Kris Allen!!!

P/S: Simon was literally begging to get America vote for Adam coz he knew that Adam might be in jeopardy coz of his controversies!!! I’ve never seen Simon do that before so it was kinda shocking and hilarious too…

Anyways, I’m really hoping it’s an Adam-Kris finale… 3 more hours till I find out… Praying hard… XD
